1. What are your expectations and goals for your team through this tournament?
All of the coaches have the highest ambitions and we are no exception. We will see what the quality of competition will be, but we believe that we will win one of the medal at this tournament. We have to go with responsibility and humility from match to match, do everything for 100 percent, and then we can think of the highest positions..

  1. How long have you been coaching Ball Hockey?
Marián Gregorík: As a coach of the hockeyball team since 2012, my coaching starts are associated with club ŠK 98 Pruské, where I am the head coach until now. As a Slovakia national team U20, I joined in 2013 as assistant to coach Dušan Danko, with whom we won gold medals at our first juniors world championship 2014 in Bratislava.Róbert Kašša: I have been a coach for hockeyball more than 15 years. I coached as an active player when I was the assistant coach of HBC 07 Žilina in Slovak extra league. Although I was a senior coach assistant at the senior MS in 2015, where Slovakia won the world championship title. I specialize in the upbringing of young talents. In 2005 I was the founder of the first hockeyball class at a basic school and since then I have been a regular coach of the Žilina youth selection. This year we won U 12 - 2nd place in Slovak extraligue. My coaching dream is to bring as many kids and young people as possible to the hockeyball.

  1. What type of team do you have? What style of play can fans expect from your team?
Slovak hockeyball teams are known for many years, especially by their pugnacity, toughness and collective perception of the game in seniors and youth categories. We are trying to make a fast and offensive hockeyball game, which I hope the audience will like it.

  1. Who are the players to watch on your team, and what makes them special?
Our team is combined from fullblood hockeyball and ice hockey players who are successful in both sports in Slovakia and abroad. We would not personally pick up anyone because all of them are unique. The most important thing is how the team chemistry works. We says in our country: „The chain as strong as their individual links are fixed.“

  1. What do you look most forward to when visiting Canada and the St Johns NL region?
Marián Gregorík:It will be for second time to visit Canada for Juniors championship in St. John´s. In 2016. In 2016 I joined the WCH in Banff as a Masters Team Slovakia. Region St. John's will be new experience for me, because it is not in the inland but on the Atlantic coast. It is the largest city of the province. It has got rich history and harbor, so it will be watched so many things. Róbert Kašša: In my case, this is the sixth hockeyball visit to Canada (Montreal, Toronto, Calgary, Banff) and third visit of St. John' s. Certainly, I will not let go of a trip to Signal Hill again to complete the Cabot Tower hattrick. For the first time I was in St. John' s in 2002 at the Canadian Na tional C hampionship as Montreal Black Knights (2nd place). We played a few matches at Mile One Center, and Terry Ryan played for one of my home teams, with whom I later played for Black Knights. The second visit is dated to 2013, when, after fifteen years, I was called as a player with a national team of Slovakia and it was a golden farewell. When I sum up, St. John's is a city where I have beautiful memories and I always like to come back here.
